Will Weldon

Director of Production
Wil has many years of experience in visual media and biographical storytelling. He is a 2007 M.A. graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication, where his studies merged traditional broadcast techniques with online multimedia presentation for documentary video. Wil received a bachelor’s degree in English from Duke University in 1996 and has since worked as an assistant for author Reynolds Price, a producer for Internet media company LookSmart, and in various capacities as a videographer and video specialist — before establishing is own business in video production. His work has appeared in various broadcast and online media outlets, nationally and locally. Wil has completed three feature-length biographical documentaries and has won several awards for his work. His passion truly is telling stories about people who have lived meaningful lives.
Toby Matthews

Director of Operations
Toby is a longtime social entrepreneur whose primary interest is helping people connect with themselves, their families, and their communities in deeper and more meaningful ways. After attending Duke University, he studied Theater at the University of Akron and Somatic Psychology and Meditation at Naropa University in Boulder. While in Colorado, he trained as a Rolfer at The Rolf Institute as has since gone on to open several thriving alternative medicine and fitness companies in the Triangle area. Toby believes in the power of storytelling and the art of filmmaking to transform the individual and society. With every Storied Legacy project he sees the possibility of uncovering, transmitting, and preserving the most essential human values to others. He is committed to making the process itself professional, collaborative, and beautiful.
